Glide almost silently in a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, through a fluid garden of lilies with elephants looming in the distance. Follow lion and other big cats across the floodplains, in pursuit of prolific antelope herds. Breakfast near a hippo-filled lagoon at dawn; brunch in watery shallows as countless red lechwe graze nearby; dine amidst a herd of zebra as a dazzling night sky is revealed. Little Vumbura is a beautiful six-roomed tented camp shaded by the canopy of an ancient forest. Each well-appointed tent has en-suite facilities and a deck with incredible vistas. A plunge pool and reading area overlook the floodplains while a star deck is reached by a bridge from the dining area. Both water- and land-based activities are as central to the overall experience, with both offering spectacular and diverse wildlife sightings
Qorokwe Camp has eight elegant tented suites, with en-suite facilities that include indoor and outdoor showers, plus one very spacious family unit with its own splash pool. The magnificent main area is the focal point of the camp and overlooks a lagoon. The dining area, lounge, library and bar are built on raised wooden platforms, all connected by walkways.
Jao Camp is set amongst islands fringed with riverine forests and vast floodplains with prolific wildlife. The camp (rebuilt in 2019) comprises a main area elevated into the tree canopy, two exclusive villas and five suites, all with private plunge pools, lounge and dining areas, and en-suite bathrooms, including indoor and outdoor showers.
