ITINERARY

DAYS 1 - 3 CAPE TOWN - SOUTH AFRICA
THE MARLY

 

The Marly is a 38-room, five-star boutique hotel located in Camps Bay. On your first night in Cape Town you will be picked up at the airport by a Tofaraa representative or partner who will then chauffeur you to The Marly. While in Cape Town for the next 3 days, expect a jam packed schedule with a variety of activities including, Table Mountain, Cape Point, & Boulders Beach via Chapmans Peak & a full day of wine tasting in the famous Winelands of Franschhoek or alternatively half a day spent lounging at the beach and the other half learning how to distille your own Gin.

DAYS 3 - 6 STANFORD - SOUTH AFRICA
GROOTBOS PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

 

Grootbos Private Nature Reservere is a 2 hour drive from Cape Town & nestled between mountain and sea. The Grootbos Private Nature Reserve is a five-star eco-paradise showcasing the incredible Flora and Marine life of the Southern Tip of Africa. Home of the “Marine Big 5” - whales, sharks, dolphins, seals and penguins; and with unparalleled floral diversity, not to mention the amazing birding one can do. Grootbos offers a one-of-a-kind luxury African experience with a multitude of activities.

DAYS 6 - 9 OKAVANGO - BOTSWANA
DUBA PLAINS CAMP

 

Duba Plains Camp is a wildlife connoisseur’s getaway to the Okavango Delta. Built on a wooded island, connected to the prolific wildlife area by an elaborate set of bridges, the camp is the base of many famous wildlife documentaries by National Geographic filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert.
The intimate camp consists of five traditional-style tents and the 2-bedroom Duba Plains Suite. All sitting on raised decking, each with views of the surrounding floodplain and the steady stream of wildlife parading past.

DAYS 9 - 11 SELINDA RESERVE - BOTSWANA
ZARAFA CAMP

 

Zarafa Camp is an intimate, four room exquisite tented camp located on the 320,000 acre Selinda Reserve in northern Botswana, an area linking the Okavango Delta and the Chobe/Savute corridors.
Few camps rival the location of this little gem, Botswana’s first and only Relais & Chateaux property. Every area of the camp has a magnificent view. The lagoon is also the water source for a tremendous population of wildlife – dry season sightings boast buffalo and elephant by the hundreds.

DAYS 11 - 13 SANDTON - SOUTH AFRICA
SEVEN VILLA HOTEL & SPA

 

Seven Villa Hotel & Spa is a natural sanctuary tucked away in the middle of lively Sandton, Johannesburg. This inner-city retreat offers privacy and nature, while being only 5 minutes away from the cosmopolitan, shopping & restaurant's on offer in Sandton. We consider this the perfect "last day" in Africa pit-stop to do some last minute shopping, visit the historical homes of Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu or a half day getaway to The Cradle of Humankind.
